"Good all round experience"

"Large 1970s house. Tidy and good location to beach, cafes and 4 square shop. Reasonably happy with stay but there some things that need addressing.1) Upstairs Queen bed- the mattress springs gone on the right side and the mattress feels like you are sleeping on a slope. Definitely needs replacing 2) Lack of outdoor chairs on the deck 3) Pool cue sticks in garage has lost their tips and need to be replaced 4) outside furniture (table and chairs could do with a good clean or be replaced 5) BBQ -...

"Being close to a playground and beach was great. Lovely clean and comfortable house with a well stocked kitchen!"

"Simple accomodation with a lot of lovely extras like the under heating floor in the bathroom. It was really great to sit out in the evening looking over the hills with the friendly neighbouring goats and sheep!"

"Our stay here was twofold. One: quality time together and Two: a tryout for the young dogs in a boarding kennel not far away. The last night the dogs stayed with us. The bach was awesome. Very well laid out and complete. If anything, we couldn’t find any ice cube trays so our G&T was a bit make do. For the rest just great. Hear the moreporks at night, swim in the river at Pots Reserve. Best kept secret: Kuku Beach. Don’t go there folks to keep it a secret 😁"

"This is an exceptional property set in a beautiful rural location with exquisite views over landscaped gardens. It is so peaceful that you feel as though you’re miles from anywhere when you’re actually only 2km (a lovely walk!) from the town boundary. "Great traditional bach dating to 1957. Everything we needed was there. No dishwasher but not really needed. My only gripe I kept banging my head on the low hanging name sign over the middle of the back door."

"Lovely original property in a beautiful location. House had an absolutely everything you could ever need to enjoy a relaxing break. Loved it."

"Plenty of room for 10 adults with lots of different spaces to hang out great entertainment with the table tennis, pool, spa and tennis court nicely presented and clean couple of issues were that the dryer was full of wet towels when we arrived, and the upstairs shower is very slow to drain so may need some attention"

"This house is located in a beautiful spot. You just walk through the garden to the beach. It is very clean and comfortable with everything you need. It is a very short walk to cafes, restaurants and a Four Square. We had walks on the beach and we also brought our bikes and explored the well maintained, easy cycle trail at the estuary. Highly recommend"

"The properties were both very clean and comfortable. Handy to the beach and quiet but also easy driving to the town. Google maps found them easily:-) Although we only stayed two nights and really only needed them to sleep in they were spacious enough to have a lovely family holiday. Shower was good and one of them had a bath."

"* Great outdoor spaces for entertaining including a huge lawn for outdoor cricket or soccer. The rooms were spacious, with lovely bedding. The kitchen had everything you needed. Great selection of board games. * I loved the Christian sayings and cross in the house that made it special. The only downside was the blinds in the cottage weren’t full length so only went ¾ of the way down and did not cover the ranch sliders cross ways but other than that it was lovely!!"

"The hosts left so much for us to enjoy .. wine, orange juice, coffee pods, muesli, yoghurt, bread, honey, jam, etc. The accomodation is really comfortable with fully tiled bathroom .. and looks unique with lots of style .. Love seeing the kereru in the guava trees outside .."

"Such a beautiful stay. We just pulled in to Raumati and booked online by the time we got there it was ready and he had just got paperwork. Lovely stay had everything there. And reception was superb love the high energy and very welcoming."

"We had a nice stay at this property - the spa, feijoa trees and fireplace were awesome! The beds and rest of the house were comfortable. Place is 10mins walk to the beach which was lovely. The only negative is that the lounge doesn’t get much sun or natural light, but the fireplace made it warm enough. We also had issues when leaving the place not realising that the cleaning fee we paid only covers laundry of linen. This wasn’t mentioned on the website at the time of booking so something to be...
