"Decor quite tired but room was fine, sheets and bedding nice and clean. No power points at the bed. Bathrooms close and clean enough. Nice lounge area with one small Tv and a ping pong table. One broken pool table. Nice big kitchen. Hard to find if using google maps but well sign posted once you find it. "

"Exceeded expectation. Location is amazing. Bed and linen was extremely clean and to a high standard. The 2 woman who appear to run the place were friendly, caring, helpful. Free breakfasts were a nice surprise. This is a budget place so dont complain it is not 5 stars but it is excellent. We have travelled the world and started in 5 stars. This place is as good as anywhere we have stayed. We had room One, king bed, own bathroom, shower, fridge. For $85 a night - wow. The shared lounge...

"We loved our stay at Kuku Cottage. We were super impressed with the well equipped kitchen, we loved walking to the beach and the cafes. It was the perfect spot for our foxie and a base to explore the Hawkes Bay. The beds were super comfy and we loved the cosy fire."

"Cosy, comfortable, and clean!!!! This rental is well maintained in a quiet location directly across from the bay. We brought our dog and the proximity to walking paths worked well. As well, the property had a fenced off area that allowed our small dog to roam around without fear of him leaving the property. Hosts were friendly but kept their distance which allowed us to feel at ease. Really enjoyed the stay. Thanks."
