"We really enjoyed our stay at the property. It’s a great rural setting with friendly donkeys. And close enough to the Karangahake gorge trails. The local swimming hole is a fun refreshing adventure. "Niki was a lovely host and the cottage was a delight. It was warm and the lovely decor made it very cozy. The kitchen and bathroom were well equipped and the deck was a great place to sit in the sun. Walking around the beautiful orchard and lakes was very relaxing and peaceful. Highly recommended . "We were woken at 4am with car alarm going off. Thank god they didnt take our car. They tried. Should have security lights at front. Also state stairs as i am 79 had a hard time going up steps."
