"We had a fabulous time in Swanage and Sarah was kind enough to call in advance to check what time we were arriving and advised us on where to park upon arrival. "Purbeck hotel was a last minute decision and one I was very happy to have made. I stayed in the lodge, great sized rooms. Staff were lovely and helpful, made me feel at home. Location was great for the town and the Swanage railway, the reason why I was in town. I did not have breakfast as was out early so cannot comment on that side. "Just back from a 2 night stay over the bank Holiday in superior sea view room. Views were simply outstanding. Room was large and recently refurbished with a good shower and a big bed. "Really lovely hotel. Maybe a little tired but very clean and in a perfect location for walking to the beach and SW coast path. Staff very welcoming. We took our dog and he was welcomed with a separate eating area next to the restaurant so he could stay with us for dinner and breakfast. Breakfast was an excellent buffet with plenty of choice. Bar and outside sitting areas with lovely views to the sea and all dog friendly. Highly recommend. "
