We love the Italian Alps and it was very easy to go to different villages from the holiday home. The garden was excellent. Many separate rooms make this perfect for different couples with children. "Two weeks spent in the Valtellina at the height of summer. The house was ideally situated for exploring the various different small valleys that lead to the high mountains encircling the valtellina. The house is in a quiet neighbourhood with little or no distractions. Everything in the house was as expected and we echo the recommendation to eat at the rifugio Mello."

"The apartment in Chiavenna was perfect. Just about 50 yards from the train station, which was perfect because we arrived by train and we did don’t have a car. However, there is parking available. Close to hiking trails and many restaurants and shops. Paolo was great to deal with. Any questions we had, his response was prompt. We enjoyed our stay in Chiavenna and look forward to a return visit in the future and I would definitely look into staying at Paolo’s apartment again."

"My boyfriend and I were very pleased with this place. The property and the valley in which it is located are absolutely beautiful. The unit itself is pretty tiny but worked for us. Because the unit is tiny, there are steep and narrow stairs to the loft and the bed is only a full size. Maurizio was a very good host and sent us a lot of recommendations for things to do in the area. This place was totally worth it!"

"I booked this property on behalf of my son and his 5 friends who are all aspiring athletes. They came to st moritz for altitude training. They had a wonderful time and found the property clean, spacious and comfortable. The kitchen had everything they needed. The property is close to lots of great running and cycling routes as wel as a track and a lake. "The spa is downright false advertising. The hotel website has a whole page about the spa, featuring various steam rooms, etc, and saying the wellness area is open starting 8 in the morning. The reality is that all wellness facilities remained closed in the morning with the exception of a lukewarm bathtub sized whirlpool even after we complained to the hotel manager. Given that we picked this hotel because of the spa this was quite a turnoff. The room and the hotel bar were all right."
