Top Savannah College of Art and Design Hotel Reviews
Hyatt Regency Savannah
8/10 Good
"Great hotel and great location. The team at the valet area, front desk and in the restaurant were all excellent. Thanks for a great experience. The tile in the bathroom should be re-grouted."
The DeSoto
10/10 Excellent
"Location was excellent and the outdoor pool was fantastic. The staff was friendly and helpful."
River Street Inn
10/10 Excellent
"We had a great stay at River Street Inn. The river view from my room was fantastic with floor to ceiling windows! My daughter choose the less expensive street view, but the view was great in that room too. Her room was actually quite a bit bigger than mine with a four poster bed. All around a great stay and would stay there again. Although I wish the cost for parking at hotel was not so expensive. We did'nt need the car once we checked in as Savannah is very walkable. Loved the whole experience!"

"Beautiful hotel and best Southern hospitality!"
Hotel Indigo Savannah Historic District by IHG
8/10 Good
"This was our second stay and I plan many more when I visit Savannah. The location is perfect, rooms upgraded, clean, staff is Excellent.....5 stars for them, front desk, dining, wait staff, bar attendants, housekeeping, valet parking. The only item to note is that valet parking cost 1/3 of the nightly room rate, $48 per night. We only parked one night to move into college, and used public parking for the other 3 nights. I check with valet to ensure I was not being changed for any more night as I was not using this service, they confirmed I was taken off, yet when reviewing the bill at the front desk, they charged us for another 2 nights of parking when this service was not used. So, check your bill when you valet. The staff immediately removed any incorrect charges and were extremely polite and professional....I loved seeing them again. The lobby has a wide space to relax, and the bar is a great place to gather having food and bartenders that know how to make a drink. I look forward to my next host...see you soon."
SpringHill Suites Savannah Downtown / Historic District

"A number of electrical outlets were not working. The coffee pot and microwave were plugged into one that didn’t work. When I went to use the ironing board it fell into pieces! Otherwise staff were excellent! Friendly and helpful! Clean and comfortable. Would stay here again."
Holiday Inn Express Savannah - Historic District by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"From the pre-planning conversations with Sandra, one of the concierge staff, to our checkout, everything was seamless (even though our checkout was amidst a fire alarm situation!). Sandra was thoughtful and encouraged activities that fit perfectly with our group; at check-in, Raquel took the time to make sure we had the best room she could offer, and when there was a minor issue in our room, she made sure it was taken care of quickly; and Wanda (at the registration desk the next morning) was helpful and made you feel like a part of the family -- who could ask for more? Wanda was also very efficient at check-out; she was grace under pressure! The breakfast was good (the staff attending to it was welcoming and efficient); the rooftop view was wonderful (no swimming required unless you wanted to). And the location of the hotel is top-notch."
Thompson Savannah, by Hyatt

"This is a very nice hotel. The staff is friendly and very helpful. If possible get the river view room. The amenities was the great, the hotel comes with a house car that takes you downtown about a 3 mile radius and they have bike you can use. Therooftop bar view was amazing especially for the sunset over downtown Savannah"
The Marshall House, Historic Inns of Savannah

"Charming historic hotel in a very walkable area! Our room was quaint - very tiny but clean and quiet. One thing that was a shock was the amenities fee of $186 for our 4 night stay. I asked what that additional fee covered and it was for breakfast and nightly entertainment - we did 3 breakfasts, they were suitable but honestly wish that wasn’t a mandatory expense OR just make the rooms a little more expensive and call it “breakfast included” … this felt a bit sneaky. The front desk also told us usually they have wine and snacks in evening, but they lost their liquor license recently so that was a miss. Overall, fine experience, but I’d likely stay elsewhere next time with more amenities and better food."
