"Rooms could use some construction maintenance New flooring, floors were stained and dirty. A few things needs replacing or repaired."

"I had to book this additional night just to be able to check out at 4 pm because the front desk employee said they are fully booked and can not give me a late checkout so infront of him I booked an additional night and told him apparently you are not fully booked and informed the manager of what happened and she said oh you just booked the last room."

"Stayed here with a group of 6 friends for a 5 day trip to Instanbul for a mix of culture and socialising. Apollo Hotel was perfect for our needs. It’s superbly well located near Taksim Sq & St so great for bars but also easy to get into the old town via public transport. The hotel itself is amazing value, and we were all very happy with our rooms. Staff were very helpful, especially Amir, and could not do enough to make our stay more pleasant & fun. Definitely recommended and will visit again."

"ive stayed here many times because its a very good price for central istanbul- it is quite basic but it has character, it is in the tarlabasi a very old district of istanbul, a bit ramshackle- which i like, but safe,. there are friendly reception staff, close to istiklal caddesi with its many restaurants and shops. its on a very steep street so not great for people with mobility problems, it is also close to the famous sunday market, comfortable bed, i slept well"

"The welcome process, room amenities, and opportunities are perfect. If you want to stay on your business trip near of Tuyap convention center then the location is very good. Breakfast is awful, the food is old omelette is with an additional charge. Was surprised that Turkish people in restaurant service are not welcome and do not know the menu. The staff definitely needs very good training."

"I booked and reserved this place for my parents and paid it in advance but my parents have been charged again when they checked out the next day! I am still trying to reach someone to get at least my online payment back because my parents paid cash! So frustrating and disappointing. "

"The staff was very friendly and welcoming on the phone. We stayed in room 505 on the 5th and last floor. It was decent with a kitchen counter equipped with a stove, a sink, and a few cups and teabags. There was also a hair dryer, a TV, and an AC (and a heating system for the winter). The things that could be improved would be attaching a proper shower head holder, and completely closing the gap in the bathroom’s ceiling as it lets insects in.
