"Pool cleanliness, sizes and options cannot be beat! The 24-hour pool is rotated, and pools cleaned and refilled daily. There are plenty of different temperatures as well as a natural cave sauna with mini hot waterfalls. "This place is pretty special. It is a small, low key resort. My son wanted to stay close to the pool, so we stayed in a standard room. The room wasn't great. The beds were hard, it could use a refresh, the air conditioner was loud, and there was no soundproofing. If we had picked one of the bungalows or treehouses, I likely would have given the place 5 stars. It is a nice alternative away from the hustle and bustle of La Fortuna but still close to lots of attractions. "

"SIMPLY OUTSTANDING!! Talk about a very pleasant surprise or something being grossly underrated. This is an outstanding hotel. The pictures on Expedia and the word “Lodge” in the name don’t do just to the quality of accommodation and the service level. The decor and the ambience - in the common areas and in the room set this hotel apart. Looks like the property has been completely renovated recently - everything felt very new. We had an issue during our stay but they took care of it very quickly. "
