You are literally on a remote island that is off the grid! "We had an ocean view room on the 2nd floor. The room was amazing, great air conditioning with lots of room. The staff was wonderful, the food was delicious, Samuel, our bartender at the Tiki Bar was an absolute joy! For only $5 we were able to have our laundry done for us, and the private boat was able to pick us up right at our own dock at the hotel. BUT, the Aqua Lounge across the water was a nightmare. Almost every single night they blared music so loud that even a football field away...

"I loved the privacy and peaceful nature of Akwaba lodge. Natali and family were wonderful hosts. Breakfast was superb! Really enjoyed spending my 30th here. They left me a little birthday gift which was a lovely. It was really clean and comfortable. We even got to go kayaking and paddle boarding with no extra charge! I would stay here again.
