"We were pleasantly surprised with the quiet, laid back beach town Luz. Praia de luz was a very short walk away from the apartment and ended up becoming one of our favourite beaches in the Algarve. "This apartment was perfect for my wife and I. It was exactly as advertised. Location was ideal for walking to the Old Town, the Marina, the Beach and Pingo Doce. The south facing patio overlooking the green space was a highlight. My wife enjoyed the bathtub and the shower was great. Karel and Estela were very accommodating hosts. Hope to return."

"Nice big apartment, had an issue with key code but owner answered are call for help efficiently. Beautiful views from apartment and quiet inside. Pool area ok, inside pool and sauna unavailable- but we’re told this after booking, so was expected. Good facilities in apartment but some extra loo rolls and some bin bags would have been appreciated. We would however happily stay again and recommend."

"This rental is located in a what seems to be an old hotel. When you walk onto the property there is an abandoned pool to the right. The interior of the building is old and poorly lit. The aparetment we stayed in needs some love. While it was clean and got us through our stay i won't be recommending it to people i know. There was coffee and tea for your morning enjoyment but that is as far as comfort you will get. We couldn't figure out how to work the tv so we were stuck with youtube. No...

"My partner and I absolutely loved Sollagos. It was such a beautiful stay. Nice sized clean rooms. Iconic Portuguese architecture and super friendly and helpful staff. On our last day we realised we’d love a late checkout, management sorted it out no problem. Even organised a cab for us. Very close to local supermarket, and a quick walk to the beach and bustling streets of food, drinks and shops. But far enough away to feel secluded and relaxed. Would definitely recommend!"

"Carlos was an excellent host. He offered to arrange pick up at the bus station, met us at the door and told us everything we would need to know about the property and the area. He even brought some delicious tarts, 2 beer and a bottle of wine. Knowing we were from Canada, he went out of his way to make sure that we could watch NHL hockey while in Portugal! We appreciated the grab bar and the bathmat in the bathtub. Many properties do not provide those 2 items in Europe, yet they are so necessary...
