" This was a one night stay in order to attend a birthday party. The receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful allowing us to check in a little early. The room was comfortable and clean and, despite being near the road was surprisingly quiet. We would definitely stay again."

"Super central in Reading... Clean, well-equipped. Lovely little pool and sauna area with pool/gym towels - all free for guests - great to keep the little ones occupied on a rainy day. Parking at the hotel's car park itself is costly at £19/night but they can validate some local multi-story car parks within 7-8 mins walk so not paying more than £7-8. Can also use the hotel car park to drop off luggage but it does take a little while to make your way in. "

"Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. I stayed in the Mansion House which had a lovely rustic feel but was also very clean and modern. The whole site had a lovely feel and the other building with the pool etc looked very modern and also had some nice cosy seating areas. We didn't use any facilities but had a look around and everything looked brand new! Would love to stay here again. "

"All very good except an ‘eco’ policy of not automatically tidying the rooms…. Which is fine! However, I put the door ‘card’ on stating I’d like my room serviced and it didn’t happen for whatever reason. "

"Stayed in Room 14 for one night. Room very tired - headboard peeling in flakes onto pillows, furniture shoddy & worn. Toilet roll with 4 sheets left folded at end on holder to look nice in en-suite. Room in desperate need of refurbishment. Staff however were very friendly, courteous & professional. Nice meal/drinks at reasonable price in Restaurant. Price for room also reasonable. Would stay again but only for night or two."
