We stayed here one night before a UNC game. It was a very nice hotel with a great bed. The shower didn't have great water pressure, but I have found this to be a common complaint of mine at hotels. We really enjoyed the breakfast. Even though we got to breakfast close to the end of the time, there was still plenty of food. I would definitely recommend it!

I've stayed at this hotel on very many past occasions, and rarely has it failed to achieve my expectations of it. Yes it's not the Ritz, but for the price charged it achieves excellent value for money. I've read moans on other reviews about the breakfast, but come on, what do you expect for a budget hotel. There's usually a decent variety of choice, and if any item runs out, then it's quickly replaced.

Wonderful time wonderful place. Will stay there everytime. The room was spotless and updated. The staff was excellent. Only thing I don't like is having to keep adding more to this review. It was great and I loved staying there and would again in a heartbeat. And everytime I get done writing this thing wants to me to write more so if I had any suggestions is to take this off. People don't like to write a bunch of stuff. If they like it it's not much to write if they don't you would get a book

My second stay was as good as the first. No, actually it was better. I walk into the lobby after a 4 month absence, only to hear "Welcome Back!" They made the effort to remember me. Good Value, Good Facilities and a Truckload of Southern Charm. Sign me up for Round 3. I'll see YOU there!

We stayed here with 2 adults and 3 kids. I would recommend this for just 1 night and if you don't have to be in the room long. This is only because the rooms are so small, I don't think they should even allow a party of 5 to stay in them. They definitely don't have enough room for a roll away and 1 of my children slept on the floor. The room was updated and clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful!

My fiance and I stayed in a regular queen room, first floor. It was cozy but very comfortable. There is a reading nook by the window (which I enjoyed) which was a nice surprise for me (it's like a window chaise). The bed was very comfortable, and the room was very clean when we first arrived. Shower was clean and we had hot water and great water pressure. The free breakfast in the morning was very crowded when we went (8:15-ish) so we brought our food back into the room with us to eat (no tables left). Overheard a group complain about the choices - it's a cheap hotel, not a resort... if you recognize that, you'll be fine. They had bagels, muffins, cereals, small microwavable sandwiches (get there early!), juices, coffee... the usual. Check-out was a breeze, and I'll be back!
