"This hotel was cheap and in a convenient location right off the main road into town. Other than that the first room we were given smelled so strong of smoke we asked to be moved. The office was very apologetic and kindly switched us. The second room was slightly better, still not great but we were tired. As far as sleeping went the mattress felt like a board with egg crate foam covering it, though that might have been more comfortable. Breakfast was a choice of cereal, soupy oatmeal or waiting...

"Very affordable, pool and hot tub, standard rooms with AC, which are clean. Had very affordable laundry facilities on site. Staff was very nice. It’s at the end of the small town (follow speed limit in town or get a ticket), but close to the on-ramp to the highway, but not close enough noise wise. "Walking into the Hassayampa Inn is like taking a stroll back in time. The Inn itself is a wonderful reminder of hotels from the 1920s. It is beautifully maintained and luxuriously comfortable. The food in the restaurant is excellent. The most remarkable thing about the hotel, however, are the employees. They are cheerful, helpful and appear to be delighted that you are staying with them. When you thank them for any service, their response is not "You're welcome", but "It's my pleasure", and you can tell that they mean it."
