"We enjoyed spending two weeks at Casa Farol. The house is quite spacious and welcoming. It has wonderful views of the Farol lighthouse. We enjoyed some beautiful sunsets, as the house faces due west over the ocean. The area is quite rural and very quiet. The village has no amenities so a car is necessary. Orlando was great to communicate with us. We would recommend this house and hope to return next year."

"This is our third stay at this wonderfully located villa. We love Jardim do Mar, and this villa is our No 1 choice for holidays in Madeira. If it had some sort of solar powered pool heating it would be even better. Other than that, it is pretty much perfect, clean, lovely views, spacious and really quite classy."

"Absolute gem of a property. Perfect location, 10 mins drive to Calheta and its great beach. In walking distance to a few great restaurants in the cute little town. The property is very spacious with great seating areas in the garden and the covered porch area with it's huge windows. The pool was just perfect and beautiful when lit up at night. The house has everything you could need and was clean and tidy. Would not hesitate to book again."

"The view from the room was amazing. Cute little neighborhood. Very clean and host were friendly. Unfortunately, the main tunnel was closed so it was a major detour to get in and out every time… probably 25 min extra to the trip. Rent a car if possible. We left the window open at night and has some creepy crawler friends visit us but this is typical of an island like this…"

"Our staying was not perfect but very reasonably good. Hotel is a "bit" outdated but location is good with perfect nature exposure. The room was huge with ocean view. The staff is excellent, patient, polite and very helpful. The dinner was slightly below expectation, and we opted to taste it only once."

"We had a fantastic stay with Maria. The rustic property was in a cute, quiet, and private location with an amazing view of the ocean. Easy parking was available below the church, which was a 5-minute walk away from the property. The garden and view were highlights of the property that we will always remember. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the place to anyone wanting to visit Madeira."

"Miguel hat uns sehr nett persönlich empfangen. Das Haus ist sehr schön und modern eingerichtet. Sehr gepflegt, alles vorhanden, was man so braucht. Der Meerblick ist fantastisch und die Lage ist sehr gut um Ausflüge zu machen oder zu wandern. In wenigen Minuten ist man in Calheta am Meer, hier gibts alles Strand, Restaurants und einen guten Supermarkt. Leider gab es in unmittelbarer Nähe eine größere Baustelle, die man nicht sieht, aber hört. Trotzdem haben wir unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen."

"Our family choose this rental for its high rating and beautiful views. We felt safe in this home. Our meeting with the agent was off putting since he was worried we were "party people" from the USA. I assured him we would take care of the home as it were our own. The views were in fact beautiful but could only be seen on the outside if standing or on the second floor. You could not keep the windows open for fresh air without the shutters, therefore, there wasn't much of a view. The home did come...
