"Extremely noisy. The live “animation “ outdoor, family friendly entertainment went until 1:00 EVERY night. Price was extra for AC, breakfast, and mandatory fee for beach and pool. Needs to be explained better in description. This is ideal for the family vacation since it is not near any public transportation so must have a rental car to see any of Sicily, but most families stay all day, all night. "What a wonderful hotel and staff! Our plans in Siciliy changed and when we looked for a reasonably priced and highly rated hotel La Paloma Blanca in Sciacca came up! We loved it! It's a beautiful hotel, the staff went above and beyond for us even though we didn't speak Italian (Google translate helped!) and its within walking distance of wonderful restaurants, shops, parks, and tourist sites in the city.
