4 friends on a road trip
Pool could be more user friendly by adding a ladder for easier access in and out. Lighting is pretty poor throughout…maybe upgrade to LED. Installation of an outdoor fan would be helpful in summer.

Great house and location
The house is perfect for relaxing by the pool and is only a short walk to the beach. Great for families. Brian was an excellent communicator and we really enjoyed our stay. 5 stars.

Spacious house in quiet area, with great pool and perfect location to visit the area
Really enjoyed our stay at ‘Lorikeet on Coral’. Brian was really friendly and responsive to any queries we had. The house was perfect for our large family and the pool got regularly used. Highly recommended for those wanting to see the sights of port Douglas and norther Queensland

Amazing pool
Loved the house, the pool was beautiful with pool towels provided as well as your bathroom towels. Brian was excellent to converse with. Also loved having the coffee machine in the house. Nice to have the use of ceiling fans rather than just the aircon. Overall amazing place and we would love to go back again!

Perfect
This home had everything we needed and more. Plenty of space for our family to relax and enjoy. The kids loved the pool and we enjoyed the short walk to the beach. We liked the quiet neighborhood and were happy to find great restaurants within walking distance. The home is short distance from the main hub in Port Douglas, but offered the escape we were looking for. Clean, well stocked and great communication from the host.

Good location, excellent swimming pool and well stocked with equipment etc. However, the property and fittings are looking a bit tired and in need of a bit of TLC. For example dining room chairs need replacing.

Good 3 bedroom option with deck area and pool. Well presented. Bit out of town but quiet and close to beach for walking. There is a shuttle option or taxi service which we found reliable. Owners very easy to deal with.

This house is in a great quiet location within easy walking distance to the beach and a very short drive to the hustle and bustle of the main restaurant/shopping strip. Great pool for the kids (and adults) excellent outdoor living space and well equipped kitchen/ BBQ set up. Perfect for our family- we plan to return.

Great Location
Brian’s house is ideally situated for an extended stay at Port Douglas. The location is on a very quiet street with only a short 5 minute stroll to Four Mile Beach. Whilst it is some distance from Macrossan St, the centre of Port Douglas, the availability of a cheap, local shuttle doesn’t mean this is a major inconvenience if you want to go to town for a meal and drink. The house itself is spacious and reasonably well equipped for an extended stay.

Enjoyed our week in the sunshine. The house is well located for a morning walk to 4 mile beach and the outside pool area is a real treat. The house is well equipped for a an adult family.

Great Beach Location
We loved our stay at the Beach House. The location was great, a short walk through the rainforest onto the beach. It was in a lovely, quiet area in a lovely tropical setting. We loved sitting on the back deck looking out on the pool having our morning coffee. The beds were comfortable. We would stay there again.

Incredible house, felt like paradise
This was the most relaxing holiday we’ve had in years! Kids were in the pool constantly which meant we could just relax and unwind. Would come Back in a heartbeat! The owners were lovely and attentive also Cannot fault. See you again!

Everything described in the property outline was perfect. A short stroll to the beach, a gorgeous private resort pool beautifully landscaped with fabulous outdoor living area and a modern kitchen and bathrooms....all with Foxtel! Couldn't ask for a better holiday.

If it’s the quiet end of the four mile beach you want to be close to - this property is perfect!
Nice property in a quiet location and the beach is literally a 3 min stroll away .. Best aspect - the undercover deck area where we virtually spent all our time relaxing - a lovely outlook to the gorgeous pool. Some of the furniture is in need of updating to be comfortable.... but the beds were comfy!

Very nice property in a good location. Very well presented and maintained. Could do with a couple more air-conditioners in the bedrooms that don't currently have them. Would highly recommend using this place for a relaxing holiday.

Perfect house for 6 friends, close to the beach (and the Beach Shack), not far in to town, awesome pool, plenty of room. Pics are exactly like the property. Even had a green tree frog visit us in the bathroom! So clean with everything you need for a great holiday. Huge thanks to Brian for letting us stay for the week. We'll definitely be back.

Perfect Holiday House
We stayed here for a week over Easter. The house is even nicer than the pictures, a 2min walk to 4mile beach and a 5min drive into town. We hired a car for day trips and running into town, I would recommend the same. The owner was very responsive and a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend this place for adult friends or family.

This is a large, well proportioned house with good facilities and a great outdoor area with pool and garden. It’s always going to be hot here, so adding an air conditioner in each bedroom (rather than the master plus lounge area) would be a bonus but didn’t stop us enjoying a great facility in a prime location. Good lounge areas and well equipped. Would return
