The property felt very opulent. It smelled so clean. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The beach and pools were well maintained. The food was good. The steaks at the Krystal restaurant and the Italian restaurant were really good. We appreciated that we didn’t need to make reservations at the restaurants. We enjoyed starting our day at the coffee bar. The entertainment was fine, especially the guitarist. He was really good. We enjoyed the silent disco. Didn’t really like the video entertainment. The waiter on the beach was very friendly and attentive. Our room was very clean and well laid out. We enjoyed the view of the courtyard. We would give the Riu Palace an overall rating of 4.5. We would recommend this resort to friends and family.

The property was very nice and elegant appearing. However, the staff were not accommodating and very rude in their approach. Most importantly a key was issued to a random patron to enter my room. Security system needs an overhaul. Thank goodness I was In the room at the time. But this was unacceptable!!! Pros: The beds were very comfortable Facility was very clean Plenty of lounge chairs by the beach Bar service at the beach was good Cons: No day time entertainment by the pool Pools where extremely hot like a hot tub Food selection was mediocre
