Pelourinho Hotels, Salvador

"Great"

"It is a perfect place to enjoy the UNESCO World Heritage Pelourinho neighborhood. It is a historical house nicely converted to hotel. The room was small but adequate for two persons. There was always hot water and good pressure. Everything worked fairly well considering it is an old building. There is a loud nightclub on one side but it didn’t stay open very late. It seemed like the whole area pretty much shuts down completely by about 11 pm even on weekends. I would stay there again if I ever return to Salvador da Bahia. Breakfast was adequate. People working there were particularly pleasant. There is a lot of police presence in the area so you feel pretty secure outside at least until about 11 pm. "

"Hospitality was 10/10 staff was friendly, they not only spoke portuguese but english and spanish as well, super close to the airport. I super highly recommend. will for sure come back. they offer transportation from and to the airport and everything else is super close by. worth the stay "

"Great hotel. Right at beach front and restaurants and shops and very safe. The room was clean and house keeping was very accessible and helpful. However you should really, really, really invest on purchasing mattress sheets with the elastic bands the grab the mattress. What is up with using regular sheets on the mattress?? Have of the time, after a few tosses and turns during the night, one ends up sleeping on the bare mattress. Thank goodness it was clean. Nevertheless, it was still gross. "
