"This B&B is adorable and the staff there couldn’t be friendlier. A good breakfast, comfortable bed, and scenic location with Galway and the Aran Islands ferry each within half an hour. But don’t book through Hotels.com, book directly with the venue. We booked on Hotels for 2 nights, arrived for check-in and were told they had no such booking. Apparently they’ve been telling Hotels.com, Expedia, Bookings.com etc. For a while to remove them from their websites, yet people keep showing up with...

"The lodge is quiet!!! Our room was immaculate, the bed was very comfortable and the view of the lake from our room and the lounge was wonderful. Many thanks to our hosts, Connie and Donal, who were amazing. Breakfast was the perfect start to exploring the area. We spent time on the Aran Islands and in the fishing mecca of Oughterard. Donal and Connie know the area well and offered spot on advice and insights. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you Connie and Donal!!!"
