"Beautiful area, lots of great trails and close to nature. The cabin itself was very homely and welcoming. Lots of board games and group games provided for families or groups of friends. Cons: Wi-Fi was spotty and would go out quite frequently throughout the day/night. Even after we reset the router multiple times. We couldn't get a sustained connection enough to use the TV. Only Verizon has service here. It was difficult getting service while on the trails. The power couldnt support two...

"Super cute cabin. The view is really nice. There is a big window in the living room that captures open mountain views. Quiet and high up the top of Pine Mountain. The TV is in the basement room and not the living room so that was a bummer. We went out a lot in the town, but it is always nice to watch a movie together. "Great mountain home for families or friends. Plenty of rooms, even a fun playroom/bedroom for the tykes. Downstairs has pool table and darts and big TV. Upstairs with main floor, kitchen, dining, living and fireplace (lots of firewood available). Just a couple of hours north of LA, very convenient. Short walk to small community town for dining and small grocery. Lots of hiking nearby - we suggest hikes #6 and #1 on the property’s hiking map (on the coffee table). Appliances are new and modern....

"I had a wonderful time. Paul was a fabulous host. I had my five month old puppy with me and Paul was very accommodating. Paul showed me all of the local beaches where I could take my dog. He told me about local restaurants and attractions that were excellent. I may just return someday."

"This is a perfect getaway. It's close enough to Los Angeles, but far enough that you feel like you are not in the city. The house is a cozy place that fit my family of 4 perfectly. We ending up being able to have lots of family time from playing darts in the back, to the provided Pictionary game, to just sitting and reading and enjoying nature. "There are many pros to this place. The space is gorgeous. There is a welcoming fireplace and very high ceiling in the living room. I had some questions and the owners texted me right away. They had excellent communication. It was nice to have three bedrooms. Be advised, one of the bedrooms is up in the loft. However, it has a bathroom and felt private. There is a big dining room table.
