Luxurys in Off the Strip

5 of us went to celebrate my sons 21sr. Elara a great hotel with a central position. Also it has no casino like most hotels so was nice to head back to. Great pool to laze around also.

The staff were excellent, they allowed us to check-in early without an extra charge. The large room had all the amenities fridge, stove, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, sink etc. Also had a balcony with a great view. Each tower has it's own pool or you could use the large pool area by the MGM.

I came to visit local family, wasnt looking for casino or other distractions. Keeping up on gym, some work, and eating was simple with kitchen, fitness facility and feel of a high rise condo. stayed for a week, room was made everyday but I believe they are separate contractors from the usual mgm room staff. Room service was on time and under 30 mins every time i called. A nice change from crowded casino type hotels, no busy halls or elevator waits. No lines. Would be there again.

I've state at several 5 star hotels with equally impressive rooms and facilities. The staff at the Skylofts is what put this stay at the top of my list. The attentiveness to every need and want is great, but it's done with an air of caring and lack of snootiness that impressed me. Most five star hotels are willing to care for you but you always feel like if you're not the "high roller" or a celebrity that you're not up to the staff's standards. This is not the case with the Skylofts, they clearly were there to serve ALL of their guests equally.
