"Amross Motel was a fantastic stop for us on our drive around the South Island. Barry and Donna are so friendly and helpful, have a fantastic knowledge of the local area. The motel is super clean and has everything you could possible need for your stay. Guaranteed parking with no extra cost to your stay is a major plus. We stayed in one of the balcony spa rooms. The spa was very enjoyable after a big day of walking. 10/10 for the Amross Motel"

"The room was lovely and spacious and had everything we needed. The beds were comfy. Was walking distance to town and convenient that Lone Star was directly over the road. The staff were super friendly and very welcoming! Would definitely stay again. Only thing I didn’t like was the steep parking!"
