Place was cheap which was good, ok for money I suppose though cleanliness was iffy as were amenities in room eg socket not working, tap iffy, window blinds really dirty… Heating was definitely working, room was piping hot lol

When checking out guests were asked not to leave a bad review, this isn't a bad review, just honest. From the outside the hotel look quite nice, the receptionist very polite and friendly. Once inside not as nice, very much in need of updating, pics on site are very out of date. Room was very small, the blind broken, a large chunk missing from one of the slats on the right hand side, unit thats holds the tea/coffee is missing a piece of trim exposing three sharp panel pins. Hot top on the sink moves freely when you turn it on, toilet is not a great flush, shower flow is very slow, sliding bathroom door could do with being on two runners and a handle of some type to help the ease of closing the door (very noisy) and finally the mattress, all i can say is either very poor quality or very old, you can see the springs through the sheets and when you lie in it , it feels like pins digging in, the worst bed ive ever slept in.

It was a cheap dive with aged room which was expected for the price. But there's this flash lobby with leather lounges and a pool table. It was so out of place compared to the value priced rooms. Actually would have been a pretty fancy place in it's day but it's dated and basic in a cheap end of town. Definitely met expectations though if you're after affordable stay with the basics.

Don’t bother, pay the extra to stay somewhere else
First of all, the room was freezing. While getting ready I had to wear my coat round me. The shower had mould along the door, so many marks, torn wall paper, broken blind, wet patch near the radiator that wouldn’t dry. We had to fiddle with the door to open our room as the lock was faulty, the shower head kept flopping forward. All night there was music blasting and you can just feel the bass through the walls and finally the whole floor just stunk of weed. I wouldn’t stay here again if they paid me and I’ve stayed in some questionable places in Blackpool. The electric was down in the office so we couldn’t get our room key deposit - how convenient. I also wouldn’t say it’s close to the city centre, took us 40 mins to walk to the bars

A payment was taken from my debit card the day before I traveled, despite Expedia stating that payment would be collected on arrival, when I got to check in, and told the hotel I had already paid and I could prove it , He said I dont care if you have paid eviivo , if you want to stay here you have to pay the hotel , this gave me no option other than to leave, as I felt I had already paid, so I went home, my trip to Newcastle totally ruined, by too many parties, Expedia Eviivo and the hotel taking actions and instructions that did not match, and also the payment from my card was taken without my knowledge or consent and no description or instruction on how to act once it had been taken..

The owners do not deserve your business, this is NOT a hotel it is a hovel of a place which is very rundown and lacks any level of customer service. Please avoid at all costs. Dirty and unmaintained rooms, no amenities such as a bar or restaurant. Expedia should consider de listing this property.

Lift not working. Room dirty with a broken window and noisy light. £5 deposit for room key oddly. Drink/crisp vending machine empty. Police called to deal with local antisocial behaviour twice during a 3 night stay.

The toilet was situated in between the shower and wall with very little room to sit properly. Also the taps on the sink moved when i opened them and didnt easily close. They needed maintenance.

Disappointing and would not recommend.
For £120 I would have expected a lot more. The room was very small, the blinds were dirty and unserviceable, there was wallpaper falling off the wall, breakfast was not included……I could continue. I would not recommend this hotel unless they reduce their charge to £60 a night.

The outside area surrounding this hotel was surrounded by Rats! Hotel reception was very run down. Room could have done with a good clean Would not recommend.

The hotel needs updated wallpaper coming off walls, mould on walls, toilet door nearly off. The room was tiny and too warm.

I felt very safe staying here. Loved my room as I didnt have to climb stairs. Nice hot water for shower. Coffee and tea in the room. Restaurant across the street Rise but i ate at Shwarma Fatoush down the street. Very pleasant hitel clerks

It was a comfortable stay and the staff at the hotel were very helpful and friendly. However I was expecting breakfast during my stay,but it was explained to me that the kitchen was being renovated.

Prior to booking I'd read previous reviews and it looked ok. However, after staying for 3 nights, I woild not recommend this place. The area wasn't appealing, full of litter and takeaways, on a very noisy main road and access to the carpark was via a dirty back alley. Breakfast for £6.50 a night was awful. No staff around. Fruit had been there for days, nothing else really other than toast. I'd get it elsewhere for that price. The hotel (particularly the room) was dirty. Stained mattress protector which was quite disgusting, poor bathroom lighting, dirty carpets which had seen better days, hot rooms (yet open the window and you have the noise of the road). The staff weren't particularly helpful or visible either. Overall I would not recommend.
