The staff was very friendly and the location is located within easy walking distance from Bourbon street and Royal street. Jackson square is within reasonable distance. The valet parking was also a plus as parking in the general area is not good. The french quarter can be easily explored from this location.

Liked how close it was to everything but the only thing i didn’t like was that the valet was $45 dollars a night and did not have over night valet.

The property was nice and clean. The staff was excellent. Our room needed some up dates. The chair in the room was dirty and we had a leak in our bathroom. But overall was a very nice stay.

Staff was super friendly and responded quickly. Our TV didn’t work, but it was taken care of. You have to let the hot water run for a few minutes before it comes through but then you’re good to go. It’s an older, comfortable hotel one block off Bourbon. It had everything we needed and was surprisingly quiet given its close proximity to Bourbon St. Easily walkable to everything. Would definitely stay here again.

We went for a quick last minute trip to NOLA and this hotel was PERFECT!!! It was a bit dated but I loved that about it! The rooms were clean and the staff was helpful. It was so close to all the action but far enough away that it was quiet when you were ready to go to bed. We will be back!!

Perfect location if you like bars, clubs and food! The bar in the hotel is great, quiet and good drinks. With a beautiful pool in the yard.

Our key cards didn't work right off the bat.. our tv didn't work and was told we'd be compensated for first night then moved the next morning.. which we wasn't. Tv worked for the next day but quit again so no maintenance man showed up.. front desk lady came up and tried her best.. took 2 remotes to turn tv to anything. No hand soap at sink or towel bars. I love old charming hotels and this was my 20th trip staying in different hotels each time but this has been my first bad experience

The location and staff are great! It ends there. Our first room the tv didn’t work, there was no bar soap and there was no key for the safe. ( We were told people take the keys home so most rooms don’t have them) We changed rooms. The second room had no bar soap but did have a key for the safe. A large window led to the balcony however it didn’t stay up so we had to hold it up and crawl underneath then put a garbage can under it to keep it open. One day there was no bottled water and we were told maybe they would have it the next day! We booked through Expedia and were supposed to receive two free drinks. They said they don’t honor that! I will say the reception desk and security/ garage attendants were wonderful. Unfortunately we will never return to the hotel.

The TV in our room was not working and it took them a bit to come loom at it, but they did finally fix it. The staff was gracious and helpful all the time. I would definitely stay here again.

My family has stayed at the Dauphine Orleans for years and we have always loved it!! The location is perfect. Sadly, the hotel was not clean and has gotten very run down. Also, we didn’t have hot water for showers. The next time we travel to New Orleans we’ll definitely have to find a new spot to stay.

The bathroom floor was dirty, the tub took awhile to drain, the sink was clogged, but they did fix it and the tv wasn’t very good to watch when we were in the room. Also, the only ice machine that worked was downstairs near the pool, the thermostat stopped working and we didn’t have a refrigerator in the room.

Our stay in New Orleans was great!! This hotel was not very clean or upkept but it was perfectly located for a night out on Boubon Street and a short walk to the French Quarter.

The property was in the French Quarter and convenient to most areas in NOLA. The sink in the bathroom didn’t drain properly and not enough towels were supplied. Parking was very expensive and could easily have been done by the customer. Beds were made and trash was emptied daily. The whole place could use updating but beds were comfortable and location was great.

Room was as expected. It was very dark though, we didn’t book a balcony room but we didn’t expect just two tiny windows. Not a big deal since we weren’t in the room much. The front desk agent who checked us in was very nice. We asked about water and were told we could have water bottles placed in our room on request. When we called back to ask about this they said they didn’t deliver water to the rooms and that we only got two complimentary check in bottles and anything else would need to be purchased from the moldy venting machine. I would have gladly just bought the water from the front desk but that was apparently not an option. On our last day the front desk agent ignored us when we came back to pick up our luggage. We were the only people in the lobby and she acted as if weren’t even there. The location was great, the attached bar was wonderful but the service was just very inconsistent. Also only one elevator was functional during our stay. This wasn’t a huge deal for us since we didn’t have much luggage but we did have to take the stairs pretty much our whole stay.

The Hermann House room was spacious, and the courtyard was lovely. The deadbolt didn't lock all the way and the jetted tub didn't work, but I wasn't too worried. The gate into the courtyard is quite secure. Despite being a block off Bourbon Street, I slept very well with just simple earplugs. The bed was super comfortable, and so many sights are within walking distance. Would absolutely stay again.

The first night I was there I contact them about the quality of my TV. The screen was awful with static and when the maintenance guy came to look at it, he said this is what happens to TVs in old buildings. A friend of mine was in a different room and their TV worked fine. The bathroom was very dated, but the hot water worked fine. The shower head just looked like it hadn't been cleaned.

Ice machine is not working, no sign or indication where to get ice. No sign that ice machine is working.No fridge or microwave, very inconvenient. On my reservation, it stated i would be welcomed with a drink or a hello. Never recieved that. Bed sheets were dirty, requested to get sheets change. They flipped the same exact sheets. No cameras or security, if traveling solo just be careful. Lighting in the elevator needs to be change. Both bathtub and sink were stocked up on my first night.

Historical property and centrally located in the french quarter but the room and hotel in general was very rundown. Specially the room where we stayed. Furniture was broken and the floor tiles in the bathroom were cracked and bits and pieces all over the floor which was hazardous. Had to make sure to put a towel down or else would hurt my feet. The AC is loud and crackly. The tub and mirror were either rusting or moldy, not sure. Chair was stained and there were random stains everywhere. Heard anither guest say there was a dead rat in the pool. Cheaper price but wouldnt stay there again.
