"We stayed in one of the cottages and it was full of vintage charm! The room was very clean and I loved the separate kitchen area - which was spacious. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The room had everything we needed and we were very happy with it. The TV did not come in clear (maybe a poor connection), and the battery died in the remote. But we were not there to watch TV so it didn't matter. The location is outstanding - across the street from a cool pier and next to a great restaurant. Parking is easy too. It's an older property but is well kept, considering its age. I would love to come back and stay longer. "

"This was a great place for our short stay. The most important thing to us was the dog friendly atmosphere for a reasonable price, which we found here at swell life. The home was clean. You can see the sound/bay and the ocean from the deck. If you sit in the right spot you can watch the waves roll in and in the other spot watch the sun set and its gorgeous colors over the sound/bay. You can hear the ocean at all times. We always like a oceanfront view and although this wasn't an oceanfront view. You did have a view of both worlds... just had to share the ocean view seat with the others in the house. The walk to the ocean is the same as an oceanfront house would have. The luggage lift was a life saver, especially since im getting older and my knees and back just aren't like they use to be. The beds were comfortable and we had all the linens and towels that we needed. Loved the shower in the main bedroom. I believe my only suggestion would be to put some support under the couch cushions as you sink quit a bit when you sit down in it. Other than that, the couch was very comfortable and had plenty of room for people to sit and be comfortable. I want to thank Joe for sharing his place with us while we remembered my dad on his heavenly 63rd birthday. I would love to return..... maybe longer next time and oceanfront if able."
