Unfortunately car trouble meant we were without transport but we spent the time relaxing, enjoying the full kitchen, comfortable lounge, fireplace, games, table tennis and badminton. We would have been a little more reassured about the location if Google Earth hadn't shown a very cluttered area just in front filled with children's toys, a camper and other items, though! "The place was very pleasant for the base we used it for. The stay was somewhat spoilt on the last day with the owner implying we hadn't clean the kitchen floor or the bathroom. Considering we found children toys under the coffee table, part of a broken glass under the settee and a pubic hair in the shower his dig at my partners cleaning was totally unwarranted and if my French, or his English, had of been better my response would have been somewhat more vocal."

"The property location is fantastic, and the bed was very comfortable. As others have mentioned, the hotel is in dire need of an update. The shower was scummy and the fixture was loose so the shower head kept falling.
