"Courteous staff"

"The room did not sleep 6. The sofa was not a sleeper. The room look nothing like the pictures. The front desk for checkin had no idea of our arrival and had to call the phone number on file for further information. I did not receive an email for check in until 1am in the morning. The front door was hard to lock and would often have to leave the room unlocked so the key did not break. "

"It was my second stay with this host. Everything was exactly as expected. Very nice stay. My flight got delayed and host allowed me to stay another 2 hours past check out. Would definitely stay again."

"The address provided was incorrect it took 2 hours before we were contacted and shown to the unit by a very pleasant young lady. The unit was very shabby to say the least. AC was locked and could not be changed. We moved out the following morning even though we had paid for 4 or 5 nights it was that bad"

"Fake pictures, address is of an apartment building, host answered phone once and said he does not know what VRBO is. Still waiting on VRBO customer service to refund my money…after spending several hours on three different occasions, providing photos of what’s located at address given and no response from host VRBO is still investigating…"

"Three families traveled to Toronto for a funeral. Online description says its stylish but in fact its dated. Windows are old (2 didn't close all the way) and some cupboard doors throughout the house are broken. 7 bedrooms but 1 only has curtains for a door and no window coverings. Kitchen had basics only however there were no pot holders for taking things out of the oven, no tea towels, limited knives and no wine glasses. Beds all had comforters but no top sheets.
