"The cabin was very cute and it's in a little circle community of other cabins and campers. The people that live there for extended periods of time are really nice, it's a miner's camp right up the road from Crater of Diamonds. You have to cross the road to get to the restroom center (it's like a lake community bathroom) but the road wasn't all that active that you had to worry about it. "We really liked this house. It looks small, but there is room for quite a few people. We enjoyed the decorations and the fire pit by the carport. We want to come back with our daughter and her family in the next couple of years. The only thing we didn't like was that is it no handicap accessible. My husband is disabled and had some difficulty with the steps going into the house and the throw rugs on the floor."

No HVAC system, room heater wouldn't work, ceiling in living room coming down, screen porch in poor repair, no towels (think at least there should be) no outlet in. bathroom and no place to plug in hair dryer & use a mirror. "Girls long weekend. We enjoyed the quietness of our cabin. We were able to get out and explore. We dug for diamonds, visited hot springs for a day trip the back to the cabin for relaxation. We would highly recommend staying at the gem stone."

"The property is a ways off the beaten path over a narrow rural road and a gravel road. A bit strange to park underneath the house and climb stairs to the ground floor, but it’s a lovely house with a killer view of the Little Missouri River! Pretty new, very clean and well furnished. Loads of party room both underneath the house and a huge balcony deck. We enjoyed the property and would recommend it."

"No one in the office. Pushed a ring door bell someone came from across the highway. Just was told key was in the cabin and that it was unlocked. Didn’t see a sole the whole weekend. We were left to find for ourselves. I cleaned the ac filter it was yucky and it worked better. The mattress was awful. Beds need replaced. We did enjoy the stay. It was within yards of the crater. Not sure if I will stay again."

"Myself and friends went for my birthday- bucket list to dig diamonds. I stayed in cabin #3 and they stayed in #2. I don't require the taj mahal and it worked just fine. It had cold air, a clean nice mini fridge and a microwave (I never used the microwave). The bathroom/ shower house is that of an older well used campground shower house and could use a face lift but gets the job done. "The cabin was beautiful! It was overlooking the river, out in the woods. The cabin was spacious and comfortable with everything we needed. Did have a bit of mothballs smell but not too bad. Overall, a wonderful stay!"
