"Such a great place to stay when checking out Waitomo. Highly recommend staying in a private room as a couple. But when we passed by the hostel type rooms, they were quite charming too. We’d love to visit again with friends and family. Great cooking facilities and even a washer/dryer."

"We've stayed here before so knew it was basic and roomy. The old curtains have been replaced and it was pretty clean. Linens were comfortable. The space heater was dated but worked. Cute place, overall needs some love, attention and definitely needs updating. It could be adorable. We missed the donkeys on the roof this time."

"The host/owner could not have been nicer! He was so friendly and hospitable. The property was to die for gorgeous! Take a short walk down to the Glowworm Grotto or wander along the sheep farm/property. This place was idyllic! We wish we could have stayed longer. "
