"Our family enjoyed our peaceful stay in Slaty Fork during the shoulder season. The home was impeccably clean and appointed. The information packet was jam-packed with useful bits. If we were to come back for skiing or downhill racing, I would stay there–absolutely."

"We had a comfortable 3 night stay at your River retreat en route to Ohio for the solar eclipse. The weather was unfortunately very cold which restricted our outdoor activities. The cabin was cozy and clean with a very comfortable bed. The only thing missing was a toaster! Thank you."

"If you want to get away from a busy life, this cabin offers that. On the plus, it has internet and we didn't have much of a problem with Verizon Wireless with our phones. Be sure to bring your groceries; you can find milk and bread nearby. Creek can be fun for ages 8 and up. Fished a little without luck, but we're novices."

"This was our 2nd time staying at this hidden gem. I don't think I've ever stayed at a cleaner cabin. Frank and Micki are absolutely the most hospitable hosts you can imagine. The cabin is furnished with all the amenities you might want while still retaining it's rustic charm and the feeling that you are "off the grid" a little bit. We look forward to returning. "The home is lovely. The road to get to the home is a little survey and the road narrows, just an FYI. Only a few issues. With all of the fireplaces / pits, I assumed there would at least have been a starter package of fire wood. A reminder that there isn't would have been helpful due to the roads to get in and out of the location. Also the gas did not have propane, we had to run out and pay for the propane ourselves. "We had a lovely stay for my husband’s 42 birthday at snowshoe. The location to the slopes was great and the cabin was comfortable and peaceful. If forced to give criticisms, we had a few maintenance issues (some lights didn’t work in the bathrooms) and there was no toaster which was a bummer but not a big deal at all! The cabin, however, wasn’t very clean. There were food covered dishes in the cabinets along with the clean dishes and some of the other dishes appeared clean but were wet. We also...

The o my thing I would add to the space would be a little outdoor dining table! It is difficult to want to come I side when there is all of that beauty on the back porch."

"We’ve made multiple trips to this cabin over the years and this little hide away cabin never disappoints. Being able to have a hot shower, WiFi, and a warm bed makes all the difference when you fish and hike all day. Also, the jacuzzi is great for loosing up those stiff joints after a long day on the river. Thanks Tim, for continuing a great line of owners to open up this beautiful home for renting."

"The house was was perfect for a larger group coming to the area. There was plenty of space and it was pretty clean. The only issues we encountered were that the hot tub was only filled halfway so we had to fill it ourselves, the drinking water jug was empty, and the tap water had a smell to it. Otherwise, we had a great time and the house fit our needs."
