It was, however, really cold on arrival (thermostat was set to 50), so the whole place took a while to warm up. "We found the hotel very family friendly. I travel a lot and the little details made me feel very comfortable. The toilets were a bit lower which helped my kid. Hot coffee and hot water available in the lobby at all times, a nice table and multiple chairs to feed everyone, microwave was super useful (which even 4 star hotels won't have by default), spacious fridge. Location is great - close to the beach and we were able to take a walk along the river. We got an ocean view room and I wasn't expecting it. Lots of restaurants and activities nearby."
