This is the perfect hotel for a weekend retreat. The room was superb, classic high ceilings true to Georgian style,. and very spacious. The only negative was that there was an 18th birthday party being held on the evening of our arrival, and this did cause some noise in the corridors during the evening. However I would definitely recommend this hotel and I enjoyed my stay. .
We arrived late in the evening and were met by a very pleasant receptionist.
Our room was very large and also clean and tidy.
Breakfast was of good quality and plentiful.
All the staff were very friendly and helpful.
In short we had a great experience at this hotel and look forward to our next visit.

Excellent welcome in a nicely appointed house that was absolutely crisp. Lots of nice touches and an excellent breakfast. Our hosts were interesting peoples and very pleasant to converse with. Convenient for Henley and the Thames, with the national sports centre at Bisham close by and suiting our needs.
Room was small but had all that was required, with nice touches; complimentary choccy biscuits, nibbles and all usual amenities - variety of teas coffee etc.
Excellent breakfast choice, freshly prepared.
We arrived half an hour early, but that was no trouble as the staff allowed us into our room. Couldn't fault the room, clean and accommodating. The bed was so comfortable too! We had an Afternoon Tea (which is a must!) in the dinning room overlooking the beautiful gardens and a sumptuous cooked breakfast in the morning.
This hotel is a perfect stay for anyone wishing to dine at 'The Hinds Head' in Bray as it's only 12 mins away
This is a great historic hotel, with acres of beautiful grounds and trails, and wonderful facilities. The staff and food are also very very good. The one thing that could be improved is to make a few rooms more geared for families.
