"we loved the breakfast. And the beds were soft and comfy. It was an old building but very charming. The staff was very helpful. The bathroom has some deferred maintenance. The showerhead does not stay in place. And the sink stopper doesn’t work. but overall, we had a very pleasant day and we got to see Eric Clapton who was in town."

"We loved everything about Relais San Lorenzo. Daniela is a wonderful host and nothing was too much trouble. The building is beautiful and dates from the 17th century, but everything is in top condition and works really well. The location is absolutely perfect. Very highly recommended. This was our first time in Lucca and we loved the city. We hope to return and will definitely stay in Relais San Lorenzo again!"
