I arrived late in the night so had to call to make sure i could get in. They have a code you need to let yourself in, so they gave me the details and my key was waiting on arrival. The room was clean, comfy and had TV / Kettle and Shower facilities.
My wife and I stayed in room No.6 . This was a great size with a view over the rear garden, decent size bed and a 2 seater sofa in the room, the en-suite shower room was more than big enough and along with the rest if the room was absolutely spotless. Breakfast was an extra cost, however we knew this before arriving and it was very good. The only down side was the pressure in the shower which was virtually non existent, but we would definitely return to this hotel.

We stayed for one night. Enjoyed the experience and we ate in the restaurant for our evening meal. We were well looked after from the minute we arrived till the time we left. Staff were friendly and most helpful......particularly when we were given help to take our luggage to our room.
Very pleasant welcome from the hotel staff. Ample car parking. Was shown to room. My Room was adequate for what I needed. Not top class, few marks on the walls etc but it was clean and that means a lot to me. The bathroom though was very nice. I guess its had some money spent on it recently and maybe the room is next.
I did not eat in the bar/restaurant but others did whilst I was in there and the food looked pretty good. Pleasant atmosphere in the bar.
The hotel is an old house and suffers from the creaks and groans that permeate as people settle and wake at different times but it was not a big issue.
My room overlooked the garden and was a pleasant outlook.
I had struggled to find a hotel in the area at a reasonable rate and felt that I had just settled for anything but it turned out good and I would not hesitate to book again.

As our rating shows, we found very good value at the Waterloo, quiet and very convenient to persons we visited. This older hotel is in good condition, good dining and bar facilities, and very friendly stall, and not too far from Wokingham, Bracknell and other towns in the area.
