"Lovely. We will definitely be back. The food was really special as was the wine and service. We paid for the deluxe king room and the bathroom was really lovely my only slight gripe was the room didn’t feel especially roomy or deluxe however the bathroom did make up for this as it was gorgeous. Not a complaint but I think I wouldn’t pay the extra for the deluxe room when I come back which I definitely will be doing. It’s worth it for the food and service alone as well as the beautiful scenery. "

The food at the hotel is very nice and very well priced and the real ales are superb. Although they don’t do breakfast there are plenty of places to get breakfast, we used Ye Old Nags Head and for £10.95 it was value for money. "The property was in an excellent position, well equipped and very clean. Communication with the owner was excellent when we did encounter a problem with the shower which was quickly solved. The outside patio area could do with a little maintenance to improve the overall experience as we spent a lot of time sitting and eating outside in beautiful weather and surroundings. We felt that the provision for recycling also needed improving but otherwise the whole experience was excellent"
