"Dominique and Paul are great hosts, as one would expect from people with years of experience in the hospitality industry. Staying with them is reminiscent of visiting a distant relative. They are attentive, polite and helpful without being intrusive. Guests will appreciate the small things, such as the deluxe soap, abundant towels, complimentary bottled water, well decorated rooms and pride that their century home exudes. And, to top it off, they have a select menu of thoughtfully prepared food available. I was quite pleased with the Portuguese-style breakfast and fantastic espresso provided for a reasonable sum. Leamington also offers an atmospheric downtown (I did visit on a Friday night) as well as a beach and waterfront park well worth exploring. Whether you are passing through or using it as a base to explore the region, this is an excellent choice."

"We were there to bird. We had a few days of bad weather and hole up in the houz. It was so comfy. I don’t think I’ve weathered out storms in more comfortable digs. Nights were dark and quiet, making for sound sleep. The kitchen was well equipped and meal prep was easy."

"The cottage was cozy but enough room for 4 adults to enjoy their stay. Outside space by the lake for sunsets was perfect. Loved being so close to Point Pelee Park, and the inclusion of a Park Pass was a great service. We enjoyed birdwatching and walks several times during the day. Jennifer and her husband responded quickly to a couple of minor issues. Lovely memories !"

"The best way to share my thoughts on this property is to compare it to last year's one. (We go annually to this area.) Last year's was fairly clean, fairly decent, but a little 'meh.' This property was exactly what we needed -- super clean, great kitchen, two nice bedrooms and a great little bathroom. I've showed up to too many places that didn't live up to the listing nor the photos within, but this was exactly as shown. Loved it! Thanks to our hosts, who got back quickly on the two or three queries we had just before and during the stay."
