Day 1 we were treated ok, day 2-3 the owner quickly became rude, short, and unhelpful. Breakfast was horrible. He drank expresso while he served us Mr. Coffee which set out the entire time we were there.
He would allow his wet dog to sit on the couch, but you couldn't rest your feet on the coffee table. He wanted you to love his dog, but he would yell at you if you played fetch with it. The power went out. There is no wi-Fi in the room. There is a chain smoker who Lives there. The Italian breakfast is cheese and ham, but he stepped it down with craft singles and bologna.
The Regina is a very nice hotel. The hotel is clean and is in a lovely quiet part of Lake Como. The receptionist Paola was very friendly, spoke excellent English and made us feel very welcome. The only downside is that Gravedona is on the opposite side of the lake to Como which means a 1 hour 30 minute transfer by Hydra-foil but it is very pretty and not too far from Bellagio which is beautiful. The breakfast is nice and overall we were very impressed with the Hotel, its staff and its cleanliness. I would definitely recommend it to friends and would go back.

A Family run hotel that looks over the lake, the food was good, breakfast was typical continental, but the evening meal was a delight, but closed Tuesdays. The hotel was only a few yards from the ferry terminal and ferries ran fairly frequently around the lake. One tip I was given, having hired a car from Milan, was to take the ferry to Bellagio and go to Milan from there. A much better journey than coming from Como

Beautiful hotel, fantastic breakfast and really good restaurant with views of the lake. We stayed in room 2, with a balcony over looking the lakes. The room was spotlessly clean, with a comfortable bed and a good size. The bathroom was small but functional.
The hotel bar was really cool, although it could be hard work to pay the bill as staff are often away from the bar.
All the staff were really nice and very welcoming - even telephoned me after we had left as I had forgotten my sunglasses!
We would definately go back and were sorry to move on.
Biggest issue was there is no lift, so had to struggle with the cases up to our room, not a big deal for us, but could be for some

I stayed here as it was a graduation present for my partner and I can honestly say it has been one of the most beautiful places I have visited (and I've been to a few places). The location is breathtaking, the views are phenomenal and the area is peaceful. The hotel itself is stunning. The staff have so much knowledge of the area, are fantastic at their job and are more than happy to see to your needs. They were absolutely perfect. I highly recommend both of their on-site restaurant as the food is immaculate and tastes absolutely divine. If you have a chance, see Francesco (one of the restaurant managers there) and he will recommend La Vinga in Porlezza where we went to on our last night; words cannot describe how much I loved that place. After this trip, I have decided that this place will be our summer holiday get-a-way from now on (used to be Tunisia).
Family owned, warm and friendly. The hotel is gorgeous and one feels especially good in a place where they have provided such luxurious rooms and restaurant. The views are breathtaking. Angela was fantastic and her English is excellent. Stephanie, the server was wonderful, too. The entire family and wait staff were excellent. We highly recommend this hotel. We did not have a car and had to take a bus or taxi to neighboring areas that offered more stores and entertainment. At the end of the day where tourists are all about, it was nice to escape to this wonderful hotel, Sole.

It isn't often that you can go away on holiday and not have anything to say on what can be improved, from the actual accommodation to the friendly staff, there is nothing to fault about the Parco San Marco Lifestyle Beach Resort. I would only say that a car is required but this is known when researching the location.
