We had just one night in L'Iroko but I'd be inclined to go back for longer. Our room had a side view of the lake and the road was quiet overnight even with our balcony doors open ( it was a warm night - though there was also a fan). We appreciated the hotel car park as we had lots of luggage to unload. The Italian receptionist (whose name I didn't get) was very helpful and friendly. Even though we arrived mid-evening and didn't get out to eat till gone 9pm, there were lots of lively restaurants nearby still doing service. The next door 'Skiff pub' was a brasserie that served wholesome food in a bustling atmosphere. Breakfast in the hotel was 12 euros pp which seems about standard from experience. It was a fairly typical buffet with good variety though a shame that it is served in a windowless room. Overall, recommended.

Overlooking a beautiful lake and mountains, the hotel has lovely views, great grounds and an impressive pool. However, the two-star Michelin restaurant is what really makes this hotel so special. The food was superb and not nearly as expensive as it would have been if located in a major city. The personable chef came around to talk with the evening diners. He shared with us his philosophy of the meal: ingredients have to be healthy and fresh and local; menu has to have limited salt, sugar and butter; the dish should have a mix of textures, colors and - of course - tastes. Every course was a success.
The standard hotel room has more limited views - but you get what you pay for.

Only stayed one night and enjoyed the hotel. Came for a family funeral so no time for sight seeing, but visited on several occasions previously and enjoyed the area very much. There is plenty to do for all ages.
Doesn't look great from the outside and the room is too sparse if you expect to be in there a lot; having said that it's cheap, clean and pleasant and ideal for business trips where you need easy access to the station/cabs.
Be warned the wifi is fast but only allows http/https traffic so you may have problems with email or VPNs for work.
Nice place, with a beautiful park around. Nice and large (octaginal pool), and good spa facilities. You can also sunbath outside during the warm season. 15 min walk from the city centre, so location is not central, but this is the price for being surrounded by green. There is also a bus but rather infrequent. Bring slippers or flip flops for the pool since they are compulsory, and otherwise you have to buy them (I found 9 eur pretty expensive, but I never bought slippers in my life so this could be reasonable).
On arriving at the hotel we were disappointed by the location. On entering we found the reception area drab and totallt uninspiring. We were show to our room which was small and bare. we left immediately and found another hotel.
We stayed in the Loges du Parc for 2 weeks in a studio room and had a very good experience. The hotel was quiet, the staff were friendly and the premises were very clean and well kept. Our studio contained a refrigerator, 2-burner stove, microwave and coffee maker - ideal for our needs. Maid service was only provided once a week, but that was not a problem for us. The location was handy to the train station, post office, restaurants and was a ten minute walk from the main shopping area and the casino. However, it was on a quiet street so there was no traffic noise.
