Made very welcome by Elaine; first impressions count! Told us a about the area too. Room good, warm & welcoming. Breakfast adequate and good, another welcome at breakfast and waffles made by a most charming & friendly lady (sorry, did not get name bur originally from Romania)
Stayed one night at theTownePlace Suite by Marriott in Gilford,NH is located right off of route 3. Lovely location with rocking chairs on the front porch to sit and gaze at the colorful fall foliage. My room was clean and spotless. Small, well supplied kitchenette. 24 hour coffee and tea available. Snacks, soda, ice cream, etc to purchase. Excellent continental breakfast included with stay. Toast, bagels, waffles, muffins, fresh fruit, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, juice, hot and cold cereals; very satisfying. Staff very helpful and friendly; the day I checked out, the woman behind the desk warned of fog and to drive safely. I checked out the fitness room, but did not have an opportunity to use, well equipped. Excellent choice!

"Fantastic Place to Stay in Central New Hampshire"
We spend three very enjoyable and relaxing days at The Ballard House Inn in Meredeth NH in conjunction with a trip to the New Hampshire Motor Speedway for the NASCAR truck and sprint car races. The facilities and service were excellent. Since there are several rooms at the inn, we had the opportunity to meet several other couples over breakfast, which was an ejoyable experience. One couple was from Germany, another from Canada. It was great to share backgounds and make "connections".
cant wait to come back....very good place to go to getaway.
close to shops downtown.we realy loved there food &drinks
very low prices on there menu.
and good price on the rm rate.everyone that works there
was helpful during our stay.
We found the Glynn Inn on the internet, while looking for a room to stay while attending the Nationwide race on Saturday, and the Sprint Cup race on Sunday, July 12 &13. We were given instructions, as could not arrive at the Inn before 7:00 P.M. Breakfasts in the morning were above expectations. We received a menu with lots of choices. Tried something different each morning.
Our room was picture perfect, like something you would find in a magazine. I would recommend this inn to anyone who is near Ashland. It is close to the race tract and Mt. Washington. We booked a early ride and our host served us a early breakfast, even though breakfast was usually served at 8:30 to 9:30. Really enjoyed our trip, guests at the Inn very friendly and host very helpful.
