"This is an historic and beautiful property, and ideal for a family group. The swimming pool is excellent and very secure. The area is quiet and peaceful and lends itself to a safe and relaxing holiday. The hosts are very accommodating and to have a local point of contact was very helpful. "the location is stunning the host is very nice and responsive but unfortunately the property has not been cleaned prior to our arival it was dusty, sticky and the toiled smelled of wee. We where very disappointed. We do travel a lot as a family and I have seen a number of properties. This one needs a deep clean . "The property met our needs, but there were some things that could have been better. On the upside, because we had young children along, the pool was a bonus. The donkeys, goats, chickens, and roosters were enchanting. On the downside, if someone wants to be close to the surrounding cities (Tours/Amboise) with pubs and restaurants, this is not the place. Also, the place needs some TLC and a good scrubbing."
