"Based on reading some of the reviews we were expecting a bare-bones hotel, not good cleanliness and breakfast - in a not-too-nice area. We even took some soap in case it was not provided. We were very pleasantly surprised - this hotel was great - nice area, super staff, pleasant room & balcony, fantastic breakfast albeit just continental, clean - and even had soap & shampoo provided! We will certainly come again (we fly our own plane) - it is the best value in Le Touquet."

The reason this is not “excellent”overall is that we were there on a Sunday & the restaurant is closed. "Overall a pleasing stay once we managed to get in. The reception is closed on Sunday, this was not communicated during the booking process and a subsequent email went to my junk inbox meaning we hadn't contacted the hotel prior to us arriving menaning 3 hours of panicking before getting in. The pool was very good and the room was OK for what we needed although many cupboards and curtains are in poor condition and in need of replacement. "
