"Property perfectly sited in heart of Mastichari. Welcome at airport by Michael and son. No criticism whatsoever as they made us feel welcome. Problem is with the local authorities who for many years have allowed the area around the pier to smell strongly of raw sewage. I feel very sorry for owners such as Michael who, try their best but seem to be hampered by a local authority who do not care."

"Staff friendly and helpful. Good sized pool. Good location 5 to 10 minute walk to main bars, restaurants and harbour/old town. Close to beach 5 minutes walk. Good size rooms with two balconies one overlooking pool but no sea view. Cleaned everyday. Only negative was air con not working in lounge area bit hit and miss in bedroom was reported but as end of season not fixed whilst there but didn't detract from overall pleasant stay and would return."

"Please stay somewhere else!!!! We stayed as a party of 4 with 3 rooms. Our room didn’t have hot water in the morning and their response was that we needed to wait until 9 or so. Our friend’s rooms, which were not near the office, had no Wi-Fi and it wasn’t addressed. The beds were hard, cheap and you were able to feel the springs. We were all sore in the morning. There was only a sheet covering the cheap mattress, no mattress pad or anything. If you are a couple and would like to snuggle this is...

"Great stay at Angela Apartments and would recommend as very good value. Apartments are basic but clean with comfortable beds. Our apartment had 2 bedrooms and 2 balconies. Bathroom has been modernised but other parts of the apartment could do with updating. Staff very friendly and drinks at bar are reasonably priced. Only a 10 minute walk to Kos town where there are plenty of bars and shops. There is luggage storage and a shower room you can use prior to coming home. Wi-Fi signal good too. ...

"Very spacious clean 2 room apartment with huge bed! Attractively tiled bathroom. Lovely views across Kefalos bay. Just off the beach road so very quiet. Beautiful gardens. Hosts are very helpful. The shower was probably the most powerful I've experienced in Greece, though use at full power gives a rather wet bathroom floor. Kitchen facilities very good. Might be worth considering adding insect screens to windows."

"Though it says that they will come and get you from the airport when I contacted the property they would only do this until 9pm. No good for my Easyjet flight arriving at 9:20pm. This left us in the taxi queue which took more than an hour to get a taxi. Apparently in high season it can take 2 hours! Taxis very expensive, 28 euros for 10 minute ride. There is not much in Marmari. The map looked like Anthia was set back a couple of blocks from the beach.in fact it is surrounded by scrub land....

"Very nice apartment with place to cook and a hot water kettle for a tea or coffee. Plus some small cutlery if you decide to stay indoors. Lovely view from the swimming pool across the sea to Turkey."

"I could say a few negative things, about toilet rolls and the doors being near impossible to lock. But it's great value for money and the pool is a proper job, not the glorified paddling pool that you get with some appartments. Good location, would go there again."

"A lovely but basic apartment right on the beach with a small pool. Had the pool to ourselves most the time. There is a bus stop opposite or about 20 mins walk to centre. We were out of check in time so emailed but received no response, we called and they had received email. They sort check in so if you don't have a reply it will all be fine "

"Fantastic apartments. Very friendly staff. Lovely relaxing pool area and fantastic little bar and snack area. The apartments are also in a perfect location. Rooms are a little bit small and dated but didn’t bother us one bit as we just slept in them and everything else massively makes up for it. Would definitely stay in them again. "
