"Perfect sized for party of 2. Not crowded and essentially right on beach. All appliances clean and in good working order. Only complaint was doors to deck did not close due to their construction and the door to come in and out of the condo did not always click when shutting so it had to be wiggled to close properly."

"We traveled to Fernandina Beach to celebrate my daughter’s birthday with a short stay. We booked this property because my daughter was bringing friends and the bed situation in this house was just right. My daughter was able to stay with her friends in one bedroom while I had the other bedroom. There was also space in the main part of the house for a queen size air mattress. The house was very clean and as pictured in the listing photos so we were happy. We also enjoyed a couple of the features...

"Comfortable and clean cottage well supplied with all your needs. Less than a mile to great restaurants and beach access. Our little Doxie enjoyed her stay too! Will definitely come back to this cottage again. Owner was outstanding in communication. Try it you’ll love it!"

"The 2 bedroom cottage was perfect for me and my 2 married friends to visit St Mary. They stayed in the queen bed room and me in the twin room. Really cute fenced in patio on the side and a separate covered front porch as well (we kept our bikes there while it rained). Great location for biking around St Mary and also taking the ferry to Cumberland Island!"

"This is a lovely cottage decorated beautifully. I would prefer a drip coffeemaker. The cottage has practically everything you need. We will definitely be going back with our coffeemaker."

"Great newly remodeled seaside cottage. Level no stairs except to your private beach path with direct and easy access to the beach. Prime location in proximity to main beach and all the island has to offer. Responsive host and nicely appointed unit with washer dryer two bed/bath and open floor plan kitchen and living area and most of all great views of the Atlantic Ocean just steps from the doorway. Modern with a developing vintage beach shack twist. Can’t wait to see what they do with it next."

"The property was beautiful, but slightly under furnished. There should be a small dining table to seat 4. We were unable to prepare and serve dinner there as we had anticipated. Also neither of the AC units in the bedrooms were set up ready to go, We did not have air in either bedroom. The tv was difficult to watch any live tv. WiFi kept going out causing tv to pause. Felt the unit not worth the value with all the additional fees tacked on. Sorry can’t recommend it."

"Property was as described. I planned a last minute trip and found the surf shack. While not on the beach or historical district, it a very brief drive or Uber. Great host!"

"The house is very close to the beach. Walking back and forth no issues. Master bedroom had a leak from upstairs. Bathroom in master is crazy. Step up to use the toilet and shower step way up don’t slip of piece of marble. Crazy add ons. Wash n fold in town was very useful."

"The cottage was like being at my grandmother’s house. Very warm and comfortable. I was on this trip with my mom, sister and daughter. Would love to stay here again, with my husband. We came here to go to Cumberland Island. This house is very convenient for the ferry. "

"This is a very comfortable and convenient property with a friendly and well organized owner. The house is conveniently located close to the beach, state park and local shops. The neighborhood is residential and secure. Very well equipped kitchen and lots of room for a family. Would definitely stay again."

"Very close to historical downtown and other shopping. What I didn’t like was dusty inside and the disposing of our trash was not super clear. Overall, I would not hesitate to stay there again or any other Tucker Stay property."
