Well-equipped kitchen. Quite remote, up a narrow lane, not suitable for driving back after an evening in the pub! Needs a little updating: curtains in bedrooms are very thin, letting in light in the mornings; a couple of floor lamps in the sitting area would make reading easier in the evenings; and a new sofa would be...

"Hosted by the loveliest people, we adored our stay here. We loved the big, comfy couches to sit around the fire on in the evening, a large gravel driveway for the kids to play ball on, three toilets to make bathroom sharing easier in a family of 5 and wifi and lots of TV stations to pick from. Our hosts put the picnic table out when the weather got warm and stopped by to see us on our way and really made us feel like part of the family!"

"My son and I very much enjoyed our stay. The cottage is very comfortable and clean. The location is just outside of Kenmare, up a winding road that is in very good condition. The directions to the cottage were easy to find, look for the blue bicycle! Marcus, the host, is a warm and caring fellow. The cottage is on his property, between his home and his artist studio, but extremely private with its own, separate driveway.
