The marriott hotel Budapest is one of best hotels. The location is the best . Our room overlooked the Danub over to Buda with a fantastic view. The staff are very friendly and speak good english. The food was also very good . One downfall is that there is no swimming pool at the Hotel. We will be returning.
I have stayed in these hotel aparts on several occasions over the last 3 years. Great central location, its next door to the 4 seasons Hotel and walking distance to all of central Budapest amenities. Clean, spacious rooms, friendly staff and great value.
Great hotel, upon arrival the staff were more than helpful and gave us all information needed about the hotel and its location.
The hotel itself is located in a quiet street, between the main roads along the river and one of the main busy streets that you'll find nice restaurants and stores. So location wise it's very central great for getting around.
I opted for the "Bohem Sweetheart Room" as the reason for my trip was to take my girlfriend on a trip for her birthday so I wanted to try and make it a little bit more special. The room on arrival was impeccable, bathroom and sleeping area was spotless and couldn't have asked for anything better. (A few weeks prior to leaving I sent an email to a manager asking if there was anything extra they could do for us upon arrival as it was my girlfriends birthday. They left a small cupcake with a candle and a small message, just added a nice personal touch to it).
Overall my experience with this hotel was brilliant, from the staff to the room and from breakfast to the great bartender who really knew how to make a cocktail. I'd recommend it to every and anyone planning on visiting Budapest.
Super 4 day stay. Very modern and immaculately clean hotel. Had requested a double bed and tea/coffee set by e mail before stay. Acknowledged promptly and in room on arrival. Front desk staff very pleasant and helpful. Room 402 quiet lovely en suite. A little small but suited us fine. The hotels free wi fi was fast about 10 meg. I hired a portable wi fi worked all over Budapest for only 3 euros a day. Had all walking maps and tourist info on phone. Highly recommended. We paid around 60 pounds a night. Absolute bargain. Breakfast 12 euros each. Wonderful. Freshly cooked full English at the griddle and cold cuts, fruits and cereals. It's only 5 mins walk to river and Varosmarty Square and Vaci Utca main shopping street. Perfect position in Pest. Can't fault it.
