"I stayed in Anchorage as my launch point to Denali and Seward/Kenai Fjords. It was good to be able to extend my stay and book the female dorm last minute in the days in between my trips. The manager, John, splits his time between the midtown location and downtown, and I found he was the most helpful in booking my transportation and the Kenai Fjords cruise. Overall staff were friendly and keep the place tidy despite how many ppl were staying there. It is a budget hostel and nothing fancy here....

"My wife bright our family here to stay while we hosted our daughter’s wedding in Girdwood. Great spot and property. The only reason I have 4 stars on cleanliness is that I am 6’7” and see some things that most people don’t. I’d stay there again and recommend to anyone."

"The room had just been cleaned when we checked in. The chemicals were very strong smelling and my husband had a difficult time breathing due to the smells. The bathroom fan is obnoxiously loud and it turns on automatically with the bathroom light. There were not any screens on the windows. We had the windows open all night to let the smells out and all sorts of bugs got in. The view was beautiful. "

"Baymont Hotel was quiet and safe, away from any questionable areas of Anchorage yet, close to the airport with guaranteed transportation to and from the airport. My room was clean, had a lovely Bay window which I was able to sit, relax, drink hot tea and watch a moose down below in the woods across from the hotel. I highly recommend Baymont Inn by the airport and the cost to stay there is very reasonable. "
