"Staff were very helpful and friendly. Fortunately they helped with our bags as there is no lift and the rooms are located up several different staircases on various levels! Room was clean but quite small for the price although breakfast was included. Opening windows. Food in restaurant is pretty average and anywhere else is a big hike without a vehicle. Location is on an extremely steep hill - but St Peter Port is all like that so wear good walking shoes!"

The hotel itself is nice without being too corporate, and the staff are very friendly. It has a good restaurant and breakfasts are also good. We had a lovely stay there. Ultimately it is the location that makes it."
