Offered an upgraded, very spacious room at a sensible price. Rooms and general areas comfortable and somewhat quirky. Better seating in the dining area (orangery) would be beneficial. Personal selection for breakfast was good but the area was rather cramped and would benefit from reconfiguration.
Not sure if the two leapord skin thrones in the bar/dining area added anything at all to the decor!
As in most of Guernsey parking is at a premium especially as the hotel has only 5 dedicated spaces.
The hotel was nicely positioned for us. The walk to the waterfront was about 10 minutes and all downhill. Which of course means the return was all uphill and was quite steep in places. Those less agile may wish to consider this.
We enjoyed our stay at the Duke of Richmond which was good value.
