"The room was fantastic, however the office hours are only from 9.30am to 5.00pm. I arrived at 5.30 and had no idea where the parking was. The TV in my room didn’t work. The one in the bedroom worked but not the lounge. No one there to check out at 9.00am this morning."

"This was the 2nd time I have stayed here - for three nights on this occasion. The decor of the front bedroom, with its beautiful curtains and 4-poster bed is delightful and comfortable and the room where one can have a glass of port (gratis) is charming. My only sadness was that the fabulous breakfasts provided by the previous owners was no longer available, but the self-service “continental” breakfast was perfectly adequate."

"Large room with high ceilings. Only issue was no elevator and had to carry heavy bags a ways and up stairs! Lovely dining room and breakfast. Sitting areas decorated nicely. "
