"Chancery Cottage was the perfect place to stay in Hay on Wye for our family (2 adults and an infant). The property was clean, well-appointed, centrally located, and cozy. The designated parking spot was much appreciated and the Wi-Fi was fantastic. Everything about the cottage made our vacation as easy and relaxing as possible!"

"When we arrived the doors to both bedrooms were closed. Upon opening the door into the main bedroom there was a disgusting very strong smell. It stayed for our entire 3 night stay but not as distinct as when I first opened the door. Other than that we had a lovely stay. Beds being an elderly couple we found not as comfortable as we would have liked but got better over the 3 night stay. First night woke all the time. Liked the open space & privacy. "Great Hotel, you get an enormous sense of history from the moment you walk in. The service was great and the staff were attentive and cordial. My room was number 10 which was at the top. very big and specious with great views of the town and country side. Food & drink were fine with a great carvery on the Wednesday, which I really recommend"
